Fisherman's Warehouse presents:

2011 Caples Lake "Magic on the Mountain"

That's right it's finally time to see who can work their magic on the mountain.
We will be targeting any trout (salmonoid) species and the longest fish will honor the top anglers.
As always there will be prizes for the top 3 anglers as well as random prizes just for participating.

This gathering is free to participate for all Kayak Anglers so please bring the family or a friend to join the fun but please list them on the roll call so I can plan for this.

PLEASE DONATE TO HELP OUR BROTHERS OF THE KAYAKING COMMUNITY IN THEIR TIME OF NEED DUE TO LIFE THREATENING ILLNESS

As always Fisherman's Warehouse will supply Dogs and Chips and Coca Cola will provide the Soda and Water.
Also any extras are always welcome (bring on the Pot Luck).

We will be launching at 7am and check in will be at 1pm sharp
After event party (BBQ/Pot Luck) will start after check in and awards will be handed out as check ins are totaled
This is a Catch-Photo-Release event so please do not bring fish to the check in
If you don't have a camera please pair with someone who has one
All anglers must sign a waiver before launching and any late check-ins will be out of competition for top angler awards. 

*I reserve the right to modify the rules at anytime and have the final say in all decisions*

There is also a public campground across from the lake on a first come basis.
I will add a map as well as attach the waiver in a few days.

I guess i should have bought those reading glasses a while ago. It seems I have been assuming this is on the 28th and scheduled time-off for that weekend. Since I have already paid for the Big Ab and cookoff at Ocean Cove for this weekend, I will miss this. Have fun and looks like I will be heading to Tahoe then. All is not lost.

Yeah, some dude just landed a 10+ lb mack a week or so ago.

I've got some ideas but ultimately I've never fished the lake.  Really hoping to get up there Saturday to get a feel for it.
