I'm planning to come to Shelter cove this year. I have all the necessary fishing gear, a Trident 13, wet suit, PDF, VHF radio, horn, and compass. What else should I bring to be safe on the water?

Scott, check out this list that is from NCKA's Safety Forum. jim

Right on, Jason.  You'll love it down there - surf's up, so I don't think that bait-ball-off-Abalone Pt. plan will be productive other than for snags.  The blue skies will be nice for checking out the landscape though.  I'm looking very forward to your pics of the launch and what should be the new breakwater (maybe it's still in progress?)  Have a great trip.   :smt001

Just booked our favorite site in the campground.  Nothing between us and landing planes but air.  $53 per night full hookups for 3 nights, I'll be there till Monday.  Saturday Tourney, Pot luck and unparalleled camaraderie.  Sunday diving!  I'll send in tourney payment soon, but I want to know what the good cause is and if your going to have XXXL, yes 3XL hoodies...should I put in an extra $5 for Omar the tent maker?

See ya there!

Omar-the-tent-maker - A slang expression for a person experiencing an erection that raises the cloth (trousers or sheet) covering his genitals much like a tent.

It is just some old Movie I've never seen, but when clothing gets very large it can be referred to as a tent and Omar makes tents.

The $5 is to cover the extra cost of a 3XL

Thanks Eric.

Let's get back on the GMS track here....how about the award EWB requested last year?

A lot of us would love to earn one....it's the "I Beat a Lepin" Award.

Who's making the award?  Maybe a signed Knife Jig?
