Hey Rich, I am bringing my 8yr old daughter. Are you bringing your 9yr old to shelter cove? We need to get the lord of the flies thing going.

I'll have Claire who just turned 11 (she's basically a teenage terror...) and Collin who'll almost be 8 at that point.  Let's get the junior members into some activities.   :smt045

Medium is probably good.  You can change your mind later if necessary - just let me know.

I had a good idea for a kids and parents activity for Sunday morning.  My wife has been setting aside buckets of old shells of all kinds, and she wants them off the property!  It's neat stuff the kids and I have picked up and brought home over the years - plenty of abalone, urchins, scallops...etc.  I'm aiming to 'seed' the beach below The Tides late in the evening after the potluck (drunken shell chucking?...) - the night's high tide will toss them across the beach and redistribute them naturally, and Sunday morning's low tide will expose a beachcombing paradise of sorts!  I won't junk up the beach - just enough to provide an enhanced 'comb.  What do you think?  Anyone up for early morning smiling-kid-watching?   :smt003

In other news, Joel "Mooch" Lotilla has graciously accepted my offer to make him guest of honor at GS5 - he may not be able to make it up, but we will honor him either way, and he has given the green light for me to announce that a substantial amount of the tournee and shirt/hoodie proceeds will go his way.  I'm glad to be able to dedicate part of the GS energy to our Brother, and we all hope he can come up to share in the Good Times in mid May.   :smt001
