Way to go Bro! So maybe yum yum yellow is better than bumblebee (tuna?). Crazy. Its all those released fish with loose lips.
Im taking some of this as a personal rule change...
1. No more solo.
2. Grouping together is a must, not elbo to elbo, but at least voice-close.
3. Got to get some more internal floatation.
4. Fish with Adam more.
5. Make out a will.

paint some more of those pics like you gave to Mooch,,,,the one with BIG Whitey sitting in wait!
~~I NEED ONE NOW!!!!!!!!!!

They followed me home on my bike yesterday and i gave them a crunch-by-munch reinactment. they didn't even play the audio!!  5 seconds of me on the ground?! NO MORE INTERVIEWS!!!

It will all be saved for scallen, PAL or SharkWeek.= so save that footage and make as much $$$$ off me as you posssibly can. I seek no outside attention, other than people in the know, or our/any kayak fishing community.
Chad!, You're gonna be a star kid!  :smt002

I just saw the video linked on Drudge.  I thought it was well done and you came across very well, no need to be camera shy.  Way to represent!

Next stop - Shark Week!

Agreed. It's not gonna stop us, but I think it will change the way we fish up there...just a teeny bit though.

I just saw Chad's interview with ABC7New's hottie Teresa Garcia.  It was on at 11am and she actually talked a little about NCKA and our awareness of the risks.  Teresa said they will feature an interview with Adam on the evening edition of the news.

Myself and Nudling was there as well in our Hobies.  Just got back from a camping trip and thought about the attack all weekend. Having seen the attack first hand, the image and the sound in Adam’s voice will probably be with me for the rest of my life.

Without a second thought, everyone put the welfare of Adam before themselves. Extremely proud of all the guys in the water --True to NCKA brotherhood and our reputation. We stuck together as a group and made it in safely. I will keep my other comments until Adam post, but thankful we all made it home safe to fish another day. (probably just not bean for awhile)   :smt001

Nothing wrong with social fishing but

1. I've been fishing solo for a long long time and plan to keep on until I drop or get eaten alive

2. Sound travels faster and further underwater and a big herd of yaks making a lot of surface noise is probably like the audio equivalent of a neon sign to any big predators within (x) miles radius, depending on conditions

It's like whistling in the dogs, especially on those beautiful glassy days

The rest of those rules sound good but I'd add

6. If you have a close encounter of the wrong kind don't let your spouse hear about it, especially if she's given birth to your children

Getting out on the water will never be the free and easy decision it once was
