8/14 another NCKA'er get's hit by a white shark at Bean Hollow.....

An NCKA member was just hit by a white shark this afternoon - Aug. 14 - Saturday.  Member is OK but his kayak is mangled.
THIS IS A VALID WARNING!!

Just got the phone call....said member wants to make sure everyone is warned!! He will post his attack / encounter when he his ready.....stand by for more details.

Thanks for the warning, I was going to change plans and go to the Bean instead of the fort, not now.

I can tell you this much:   consider it confirmed, a certainty, attack by a GWS on an old hand at the Bean. I missed the event, but saw the evidence on the beach, and saw the eyes of those involved. Big eyes.

Glad everyone was safe, but it was surreal.

Holy Shit! I was OTW between The Bean and Pigeon Pt yesterday.  This is very concerning! Thank God nobody was hurt.

Woah. The landlord came to collect. Glad he left empty-handed and the said person is OK.

  I wonder how far those guys range on a day-to-day basis?
