So far the entries are coming in pretty slow. We have a lot of great prizes not to mention the cash pay out down to 5th place.
$1000 1st prize from Maui Jim
$500 2nd place from Specialty produce
$350 3rd place from Fishermans landing tackle
$250 4th place from Ballast point brewing company
$150 5th place from Reebs lures

We also have a new OK trident 15
and lots more in our raffle.

I hope we will see some of you there.

I'll try to make it, if I can build up the WAF and extra cash! I've done this tournament 2x and though, I've never caught anything, it was the fun all the same! Be sure to bring extra cash for a t-shirt and their very generous raffle. Like its been said, if you've never fished the jewel of California Kayak fishing, then you owe it to yourself to fish La Jolla before the MLPA close it off!

I just saw the art for the shirts for this years Steve Moyer Memorial Kayak Fishing tournament and I have to say it is the best we have ever had. Paul Elder, who does all the art for Ballast Point brewery did the art for us this year and it is AWESOME. You will want to enter the tournament just to get the shirt.
After posting the photo of the art on our FB page I have already been getting emails from people around the country wanting to get one of these shirts. If there is enough interest we will have extras printed up. The plan will be to sell the extra shirts at the weigh in for $20 with all proceeds going to our Charity. IF you think you might want to get an extra shirt at the event please let us know so we have a general idea how many to print up. We don't want to come up short and we certainly don't want to print a lot of extras, that would just mean less money for the charity.
We are thinking light grey for the shirt color.

If you think you might want to order one to be mailed up to you let me know also, it would be an extra $5 to ship it. Just trying to figure out how many to print.

That's Bad-Ass. Any chances of getting say an 8X10 or larger re-print?

I'll definitely be picking up a shirt. XXL for me.

You may get more interest if you post a seperate thread for the shirts.

There's always next year, Craig. I'm going to make it an anual trip with my family from now on.
