March 13th AOTY Awards and Shark Derby

I will be there to fish and Wife will be there to visit and cook up something good.

Is the Shark Derby just for good times, or is there prizes for this event? Not that I will win anything, just curious.

Are the bag of goodies for last years regristration or this year?

I have a couple of fish hook ornaments I'll donate to the cause of "good times"!

I may have a few items to donate as well, provided I have time to make them next week..

The derby is basically for fun and braggin' rights with a few donated prizes.  If you guys wanna raise the stakes a little and make it a MBF (money between friends) derby, we can build a prize pot with $5 per participant.  Just let me know.

As for the derby rules, we should just do a catch, measure, photo, and release format.  We can also relax the rules a bit to allow for assistance in measuring fish and verifying length.

Sure I got a few items i can donate, nothing fancy, but something that can be used...

Schedule cleared, I'll be there - planning for Friday so I'll make it there by Sat am.

I googled Marina so I have dir. but maybe someone could give more detail on where to go please. Also bait of choice? I will be coming straight from work so food suggestions , I don't have any way to keep it hot or cook before I come down , Potato salad? Thanks for your help Guys

Oh god please....Them things are a PITA to hold. I can't imagine holding one, measuring and taking a pic. That may be a three man operation!

Come on Eric you can hold onto a 4ft leopard take a pic and get the hooks out. Plus take a pic. Boss Hog on coastside caught a 60 inch sturgeon out of San Leandro Marina last week. Ghost/grass.

yeah i saw the coastside report but i believe he ran down to dumbo from there, that's a long paddle
