me and 5 other buddys went out for squid with capt. powers on the new sea angler , right when we got out the harbor i knew we were in for a fun trip due to the17 foot swells that were breaking over the rocks
...it was all fun n games untill about 20 minutes into the ride then we all got quiet and all serious , noone spoke , a few of us barfed and some were laid out on the floor

we got out to the spot and we started dropping our jigs , imediantly it was on but those lil piece of crap rigs that they rent out were killin it for me , like 5 types of line all tied together and not enough , luckaly my buddy was out for the count and i got to use his 2 speed setup and started railing those slimy bastards , what a workout! after a whilei got tired of reeling um in so i helped the deckhands out who were in the back trying to untangle a rats nest from hell do all the gaffing for the front of the boat. after an intense workout for all of us we headed back in with a boatfull of squid and enough crab bait for 3 seasons

Craig...I know how you love him. Based on the exp you had (and similar from a few others) I think I'll spend my $'s elsewhere.

Cool report.  That looks and sounds like a hoot - especially with an enthused capt. at the loudspeaker trucking people around in big swells.  Think how many people end a trip like that elated to just be back on land.   :smt005
