I don't think there will be any halibut where thats going.

You couldn't be more wrong, but they'll be a different shape, size and species...and do'nt worry ChuckE you will always be on the bro list.  Besides who else would you have to take your picture?

Sean

That is one beautiful Radon in my eyes. One cool trick idea with that extra large fish hold I've seen in the past is salt water hottub conversion. It still has it's duties as a livewell.

We were at Channel Islands 2 years ago fishing and diving when a another Radon pulled up next to us to ask us how we were doing. This was a strictly scuba/freedive/spearfishing Radon. I saw that one of the divers was in his wetsuit chilling in the hotub/livewell. I thought it was the coolest thing.

It reminded me of when my buddies and I would do the Peace Boat spearfishing charters. They had an awesome hottub to jump into in between dives.

Congrats on the new vessel dude. I know you are going to have some awesome times with it.

My urchin diver friend up here has converted one of the holds to a hot tub that takes water heated off the manifold.  Sure is great after a cold dive.

Sean, if your girls have any reservations about the boat at first, just tell them it has a hot tub!   :smt001

Ahh, yes - sling launching is fun . . . I always enjoyed watching those at the pier. I once watched about an 18' OB skiff getting launched - the guy's slings (boat owner) looked baaad. Sure enough, about half way down the rear sling gave way and the front one slid off the bow. When the boat hit the water, the OB sheared off the top of the transom and went to the bottom. Thankfully it missed the dock below, and there were some divers at the restaurant that agreed to get the motor . . . Pete, the harbor master was as usual stoic and unaffected by the boat owner's anger.  sorry for the thread-jack. :smt003

It will be crazy to see that big thing in the air, but it has apparently been done many times.

I'd love to see that! I stopped at Pt Arena last year after SW101 but didn't see any boats launched...

Wow, that is super cool.  I've never seen anything like it on that scale.

Well, did you pull the trigger?  How was the test drive?

That was neat to see. I had my boat launched at Port San Luis but it is nowhere near that far from the water.

So have you made the decision yet.

I feel really sorry for you having to take your daughter to Alaska..........

NOT

How did she win it?  Where are you going?

Impressive yet intimidating.  I have been looking at Bayrunners like Golden Arrow bought and this beast is simply a WHOLE nother scale. I gotta decide if i want to take on the work with the big payoff\....or go light and good to go.
