Awesome fish, and don't feel the need to tell everyone all the details. Some secrets are better left secret.

Brendan nice WSB dude. Looks about 30".

Longtime no see bro. Lasttime I fished with you was '04 or '05 Montana De Oro? You met up with me, Lou Dogg, Spike, Dr. Gil, Perdomo, and acouple other dudes at the campgrounds. Then you showed us some of your spots up by San Simeon. You remember that?

Hope to fish with you again brother.

Have no fear.  Midnight Super-Slueth here.   :cowboy_cool:

I've compiled the spotty evidence and determined that this man has caught this, the largest jack-smelt ever, in Central Humboldt near the Mouth of the Eel River.  (cats love jack-smelt, "CentralCoastKayakFishing"...)

"Where the Redwoods Meet the Sea"  Duh - I've seen Sasquatch riding huge Sempervirens down the river at floodstage.  (we need harder clues...)

"Pirate" threw me off a bit - that's Sin Coast's people, and he's more down toward Sur...  Hmmm...

Please refer to the photographic evidence provided:

- Sasquatch, or "Bigfoot" for those of you not following current events..., has been known to frequent the MOE, and jack-smelt are its primary food source;
- That recycling container is F*#$^ing huge!  (obviously belongs to sasquatch...)
- yeah, I was already sluething and using my super-secret high-tech program ("Paintbrush") to create evidence when I noticed who else was watching this thread this AM...  (seriously, that IS a trip!   :smt005)

Oh, and...
Quote from: ewb, which is obviously just Sasquatch at Eric Berg's computer trying to get a lead on more jack-smelt
there is a different section for pure braggin'
  this section for braggin', it must be the Abking section!   :smt005

Seriously though, this is a long time member coming back from a health issue - welcome back, Bro.  I don't know if you're still guiding, but I don't blame you for keeping the wraps on a rare catch either way.  There was a "sorry" for no OTW pics, and I'm reading enthusiasm for being back in the yak - I feel the love.   :smt056

I've never met you, but I remember a tale of climbing a mountain in the Ventana with the Chef, so I figure you're a cool dude.  Never met Chef either, but I think his story represents alot of what NCKA's all about.  I accept you as my kayaking brother.  Thanks for the report.   :smt001

(the REAL mystery is why I'm up at this hour!  My kid had a bad dream - time for me to go back to bed.  Ariel Sea probably hasn't even GONE to bed yet!   :smt044)
