Elk Cancelled or Reborn?

Sean, I guess the people of Elk won't be seeing any of our money this year. Sucks to be them. I will miss that hill though.
I have fished at Albion and had a great experience. Easy in, easy out, and a great campground for a family. It id protected for those rough waters.
July will work better for me, last year Elk fell on my anniversary, that was a though one, but i made it.
Just give me those date and I will be on the reservations.
With no limit on people I'm sure we will see some new faces to.

Albion sounds good to me. Maybe Mooch can bungie jump from the bridge. I guess this means a new tee shirt and hoodie design.

well, money talks and bull**** walks, we as anglers should make a concerted effort to boycott elk businesses.

i will be fishing elk this season, sometime, and I WILL NOT be spending a cent there......it's sad, because i know the deli/store was ALL PRAISE for us and she seemed genuine about it.

We are of the same mind my friends.

I will miss the smaller group size, but a new adventure is a new adventure. I'm down.

I will be fishing Elk one of these days shame it can be during NCKA event.

Usually when I goto small towns like that to camp/fish I like to buy majority of food especially beer, more beer and more beer. I don't mind spending my money on a small town economy.

When I goto Elk I'm being everything I need with me. Elk is not getting any of my hard earned dough. Suck it Elk!

Who knows if it will really even get any bigger...we'll just have to see.  

There are definitely NCKA supporters in Elk, but they weren't on the GCC Board this year.  The store loves us! Vince the pizza oven guy and kayak surfer always had our back, but he is in his final days with a lost battle with liver cancer.  Leah's folks are no longer on the Board either.  The whiners took over and we are out.  In the end, I think this will be a change for the better, but I defintely felt mad at first.

Albion looks fine looks like Lot's of structure and deep water 

so if we go to elk at all this year, support the store but no one else, right?
