I was lookin' forward to my first crack at the legendary ELK, but I'm definitely down for Albion. The upsides sound like they more than outweigh the downs. No doubt a tent city is plenty sufficient for NCKA. Decent restrooms & a hose for washing stuff off - what else could we need?!

Well, it's a little closer to me anyway!  I do wish I could've experienced Elk, but NCKA is just getting bigger and better, so bring on the new venue!  I have family obligations up in Tahoe the last week in July, so I'll keep my fingers crossed about the dates on this one...

Cool!   :smt001

Albion sounds good to me.  For those who have never experienced Elk, you can always stay an extra day and make fishing Elk a day trip.

They also have trailer and kayak rentals at Albion River Campground. Might be good for some WAF points.

Albion is nice! Closer to Mendocino for anyone interested and centered in some of the best fishing and diving on the coast. :smt003

Man, what a bummer about Elk, but if they don't want us, so be it. Theresa and I are down for Albion.

Since it's in July and won't conflict with my long range trip, I'm interested in checking out Albion. Who knows? Maybe I'll even test the (protected) ocean waters. If Ben is there, he and his boys (if they go) will watch over me.

Sean, I'd fish in a mud puddle if you said so.  Albion it is.  Maybe we can do AOTD in Aug.

We should all show up at Elk on Sunday just to spite them, plus I think the hill at Elk should be a newbie initiation.

Count me in, Elk has been a great event, but it is time to move on.  Look forward to exploring Albion.

You bet Howard  both Jacob and Joel will be there. We'll have a great time  :fishing2
