I am 90% there (for Fri-Sat and I still need to pay) I know the 18th is the cut off. I just need to make sure baby watching is covered. It looks like food is all set? I am guessing fire wood is the needed item? I can bring some. Or I can haul some (James let me know, you mentioned some pallets). If food is needed let me know and I can chip in. Otherwise I will trade firewood for grub! Maybe on the food thread someone can start a 'we need this' list?

Five day forecasts are in, and what do you know? looks like a possibility of rain!    :smt044

It's also looking like it gets down into the low forties at night, so make sure you have warm clothes!

Last year I brought an EZ-UP and thought just a tarp would be better, I have a few, including a HUGE one we could hang above a table or two, strung between the well placed trees, much more efficient for us to use and a helluva lot easier to deal with. The more tarps the better, and enough rope too... any ideas what I should contribute for food? Sounds like there will be a lot of chow and I hate seeing all the leftover food going to waste and dont want to bring dogs, meat or anything else that wont get et. Last year there was a lot of food left over so Ill gladly fork out some $$ for those who bring another cow-load of meat if thats OK.
I will bring many PBRs. Eric and Frank dont forget your git-fiddles. Ive got a little portable digital recorder we can use to "capture" the moment forever and put it on a CD, complete with a cracklin' fire in the background. When is the earliest we can go? Im ready now.

I also have a bicycle tow-behind baby carrier that I use at Burningman, great for transporting gear, wont be bringing a bike but could bring the carrier if people want to use it to haul stuff from the lot.

OK someone other than Mooch needs to start scheduling these events!  He's plagued with RAIN!  My 4th NCKA  event and 4th time it might RAIN! (OK HMBF&C was a little wet & drizzly not really rain)

So, what time is everyone planning on arriving?  I'll probably be there at around 6-7AM depending on if I can sleep the night before  :smt005

If all goes well I should be there 8 ish. Worst case 10ish. I plan on fishing some. Then setting up camp when we are allowed (2pm right?). Actually, I am just sorting out what rigs I should take. I am bringing a couple ultralight outfits for trout. I am thinking I can get by with another set up for bass (SMB and LMB) and stripers. I haven't seen any monster stripers so I think I'll be OK?

Thoughts anyone?
