John Travolta: While filming in Auburn
Brad Pitt signed my Anatomy text book (the only thing I had with me) on set in Budapest while filming Spy Games.
I got to hang out with John Cusak at a party @ Gellert in Budapest.
Avram Hershko (Nobel Prize - Chemistry) took me and a few colleagues out to dinner in 06 (Also Budapest).
I also met a distant relative in Budapest who went by the screen name "Cicciolina". Maybe some of you have seen her work   :smt044

Flew from SFO to Heathrow last night on virgin Atlantic.  While checking in at VA counter in SF, none other than Richard Branson pops up behind the counter.  He was walking the line, shaking hands, saying cheerio to his employees.  Then he checked in on same flight to London, he in first class, we in low class lol.

What a charismatic and charming man.  You could tell his employees adored him.

I think running into someone famous is cool, but does anyone have any highschool memories of people that grew up to be famous? I have heard a few tales in my life about that and it is pretty good stuff.

I went to middle school with a guy named Gary Dobyns, not world famous but a lot of fishermen have heard of him,and his sister Gay was a good friend of mine, not as good as i would hae liked though lol.

+1, at a Giants game several years back with my oldest, who at the time was 2, maybe 3 and I've got my hands full with her and food with about 20 minutes prior to game time and he's heading back to the broadcast booth and holds the door for me so we can get to our seats.

I ran as a Medic at Giants Games for 9 years... met him and Krup all the time....

Krup is really outstanding and always a extremely positive/friendly person....

Always very Kool Guys....  and another one was Rich Aurilia...  after the games, I had to be the last one out... always watching the the players fly past the kids after the game by the parking lot without so much as a wave...

not Rich,,,  he would walk out there and sign autographs till he could walk over to 3rd and king and wait for the light to turn green without a single person bugging for a autograph...

He always signed them all....   :smt004

Saw Coach Steve Mariucci last night in Los Gatos while having dinner at Forbes Mill.
His shorts exposed his calves, each of which featured a huge scar along the inferior gastrocnemius.  Wonder what that's about.

Got into trouble as a youth and was sent up to Susanville... Shamrock Boys ranch.
Drove Bob Shamrock's Caddies from the Body shop I worked at (before I even had a licence) after I'd been working on them for weeks putting down new paint. First time I ever held a spray gun it was pointed at his Yellow '56.  His 57 Biarritz
Worked on Ken's '71 Camero, cruzed that one to Reno with him, out to Eagle Lake on a Group Hiome camping trip. hunted snipe, drank beer with him,  Had a few kickass 4 hours sessions at the gym too.

We were neighbors. I lived in the two story grey house behind and up the hill from the empty lot next to the house where we played football with Bob's Dalmatians. I was Frank's age, played Frosh ball together.

Last Saturday, attended Kristi Yamaguchi's Always Dream Foundation's "Dance the Night Away" Fundraising Dinner and Auction in SF.  The amounts people were bidding for things was pretty impressive.  Try $15K for a private dinner for 10 chef'd by Brian Boitano lolz.

I chatted up Kristi's husband, Brett Hedican, a former Easton sponsored athlete.  Real solid, nice guy.
Edita Sliwinska from DWTS was there performing and mingling in the lounge afterward.  Three words:  Oh.  Em.  Gee.   :smt007

My son works for Bob Weir at his recording studio.
http://www.tristudios.com/

I've been there several times.  Once I was dinking around, picked up a guitar and was playing a few riffs when I was tapped on the shoulder.  Sammy Hagar asked if he could have his guitar back!  Ha!  I told him, in a minute...  He thought that was funny.
Sat in while Journey was practicing for their next tour.

Then last Monday these guys were in the studio

A couple weeks ago we were able to visit Skywalker Ranch.  No celebrities, but some big name industry folks there;
My son, Scott in front of the ranch house
