Back in my working days, my company PAC supported Arnold and I attended a fund raiser at a private home in Atherton.

I got to meet & chat with Steph Dutton a couple of weeks back on the Trinity River. He's still truckin.

In 1993 I was a boathouse rat kayak outfitter in AK, which meant lots of downtime when all our boats were out. I read a huge stack of Sea Kayaker mags & was really stoked on the BC to BC story.

Stepped off the boat in San Deigo after a 3 day charter. And walked right into Ton Jones from Auction Hunter. In his case the camera takes off 10lbs (or more like 40lb). Man he ONE LARGE MAN

Had lunch today in Palo Alto at Reposado (try the halibut ceviche).
Walking out at 1320 PDT, saw A-Rod sitting by the window.

If you were wondering, yes, he did order "the juice" with his wine.  :smt005

I guess with all this time on his hands from being suspended, he can be wherever he wants.

Last year I got to spend a day fishing with Gary Loomis and spent a couple of nights at his compound in Washington.  Gary has one of those "bigger than life" personalities and is a great story teller.

Newport Beach harbor, way back when, we had a birthday party for my sister on a 120' party boat in the harbor. It was one of our friends boats they rented out for these occasions. Anyway, Dennis Rodman pulls up beside us in his offshore boat while we were still tied up to the dock and hops on our boat and has several drinks with us before we took off for the party cruise. Totally down to earth guy which was very surprising.

You must have been smashed.  Rodman--the same guy that been going to South Korea as a negotiator?

Several here Clint Eastwood Can be a dirt bag. Steve McQueen was cool down to earth mostly. I lived in Santa Paula when he did before his death. Johnny Rivers at a friends house doing a fundraiser. Micky Jones who played drums on the song Secret Agent man. and a biker in many movies. Bill Lucking who played Piney on Sons of Anarchy. He lent us a high chair when we had our daughter.

I coached Robert Conrad's (Wild Wild West) children in soccer for a few years and got to become real good friends with the short little guy.
I've also had the opportunity to meet and speak with Sarah Palin and her husband Todd. Great people.
In my days I have met even more "famous" people but the list would go on and on.

I know Adam Coca, google that dude sometime!
We have the Sunday New York Times delivered and my cousin, John Williams, writes the open book review on page three, kind of cool reading his article every week.
I have another cousin, Shawn Casey, who was one of the first super models in the seventees. she worked with Cheryl Tiegs, Janice dickenson and is still best friends with Patty Hanson, Keith Richards wife of thirty years. Keith and Patty moved to CT years ago cause they fell in love with the place visiting Shawn where we grew up. Their kids hang out together in NYC these days. She lives in San Rafael now, one of the few family I have out here, very cool to hang with her.
