Got into trouble as a youth and was sent up to Susanville... Shamrock Boys ranch.
Drove Bob Shamrock's Caddies from the Body shop I worked at (before I even had a licence) after I'd been working on them for weeks putting down new paint. First time I ever held a spray gun it was pointed at his Yellow '56.  His 57 Biarritz
Worked on Ken's '71 Camero, cruzed that one to Reno with him, out to Eagle Lake on a Group Hiome camping trip. hunted snipe, drank beer with him,  Had a few kickass 4 hours sessions at the gym too.

While opening up a new office in Puerto Rico for my company back in Orlando, Fl  I was on the phone at the elevator bay waiting to go to the condo i had rented in a pretty nice part of the hotel district of Isla Verde.  There was a guy there waiting too and he asked me If I was on the island for business or pleasure, I said mostly business,  then i recognized him and said, " your an actor arent you" he then introduced himself " my name is Ving.. Ving Rhames.  ( he has a condo on the 11th floor of the tower for when he's in town..which from what i saw in the coming months is quite often)

This all happened several years ago.

My wife and I were staying at the Bellagio in Vegas and waiting in line for their show, O.  Mike Shananhan
NFL Head Coach and his wife were in line behind us waiting to be seated.

While I was waiting in line at Big 5 Sporting Goods store in Redwood City, Dennis Green then Stanford Head Coach and former MN and AZ NFL Head Coach was ahead of me.  Dennis was going buy a tennis racket.  The clerk was verifying an item price for another customer which was causing a delay.  Dennis couldn't wait and took off.  If he waited another 20 seconds, he could taken home that tennis racket.  As soon as he left the line started moving again.

While vacationing in the Sierra's, I saw Dick Vermeil at Pinecrest Lake.  No pictures, tears, or sighting of his SB ring, but I saw the man with his family.  Didn't feel right bothering him.

I think running into someone famous is cool, but does anyone have any highschool memories of people that grew up to be famous? I have heard a few tales in my life about that and it is pretty good stuff.
Live your life, the way you want to be remembered. Don't have any regrets, we only get this one dance to make it count. Start at your eulogy, and work backwards.

I graduated high school with Debbie Lee Carrington she was a cheer leader and very active person she is/was a stunt person in hollywood. She has acted in star wars as an ewok and was in total recall as Thumbalina plus has done a lot of stuff. She was a joker and had a great sense of humor.

My daughter went to high school and graduated Todd Clever USA rugby world cup capt. I got to watch them lose to Ireland. a couple a weeks ago. On the T.V.

Going to age myself here.

Went to the grand opening of a resthome in El Cajon in the early 70's and met Uncle Joe Carson (Edgar Buchanan) from Petticoat Junction and Sergeant Schultz (John Banner) from Hogan's Heroes.

Met Howard Hessman From WKRP n Cincinnati at a taco joint in Torrey, Utah (pop 100) in the 80's. He was filming a movie near Lake Powell.

Met Robert Young from Father Knows Best  in the 70's on the teacups at Disneyland. He was a total dick.

Met Tom Selleck and Don Johnson when they came to this part of Utah flyfishing in the 90's.

Oh yeah, I also met Thomas S. Monson, the current president of the LDS Church. Apparently I am a heathen on my way to hades.  :smt006

I saw Clint Eastwood leaving Whole Foods in Monterey as I was entering with my wife... it was Halloween night.
I turned to him and said "Nice costume", my wife was mortified and sped ahead without looking back. I was pretty embarrassed myself, but I just had to do it, how often are you going to get that opportunity?

Clint gave a slight grin and said "oh... thank you" I felt really dumb.

I used to practice at UOP for waterpolo and a couple of buddies and I reparked this guy's jeep once: http://www.setwaterpolo.com/page.aspx?ID=9
He was cocky even by waterpolo player standards.

Also one of the cross town teams was coached by Ervin Zador. Famous from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blood_in_the_Water_match
Very friendly guy but nothing of his former glory in his later years.

Grew up playing little league with this girls brother: http://www.ktla.com/about/station/bios/ktla-brandi-hitt-bio,0,3789946.story

Lucky (Hector) Diaz was a year older and made my high school's jazz band worth hearing: http://www.luckydiazmusic.com/index.html
