For those of you who have not had the pleasure of fishing with Mike / Mickfish, let me just say that he is one of the many talented fisherman (a consistent catcher) in NCKA. I know this for a fact cause I've fished with him for several years :smt045

If you did? WOW! then I take back EVERTHING I said....BUT,if these SELF HORN TOOTING milestones were achieved by any other means than a KAYAK!  :smt012
WHO on this board REALLY CARES what you've accomplished from A BOATlike I said.....I do recall you getting angry about fellow NCKA members sharing information on your SECRET? catfishing lake?
I thought we signed up to learn and share with each other?...I did!  what's your reason?

I almost spit my soda all over my keyboard... cause I misread this as saying Kickfish instead of Mickfish.   :smt005

Mr. Kickfish,

You have a few valid points about being careful regarding some of our fish-handling practices and the extent of lurkers that view this site.  Both are very true.  It is unfortunate that these points are buried in a mountain of other crap.  The majority of your posts are drunken incoherent babbling.  This is not to insinuate that you are a drunk.  I have no idea if you even drink.  It would just explain a lot.  Maybe some other substance?  I'm really not sure.  If it's just a mental thing, then I apologize for the confusion and I'm sorry for your struggles.  :smt009  Basically, sounds like you just need to think before you post...

Lastly, why the name "kickfish"?  Always been curious about that.  Why would you want to kick them?  Do you "want to waste" them?  Now that I think about it, "pooching" is actually a style of kicking...   :smt001

P.S. I find it ironic that your post at 4:25am is one of the clearest posts I've ever read from you.   :smt002

Frankfishing,

Fish hunter asked me if I did any fishing.  I think that I had a right to explain what my fishing background has been.  No, ego Frank.....we too old to have one.

The main thing about this thread was "Just saying you got your limit".  What is so hard to understand about that.  An outsider will read our reports and see that we got 20 fish and that is all they see.

Who, has an Ego here, Frank?

Ken,
We have fished in the past and I have always enjoyed your company however; the word justification comes to mind with your past few post. I don't know what the problem is but what I am witnessing is a complete disregard for others feelings on your part and  character assassination from you when anyone disagrees. What's up? It's as if no one can have a say other than what you think is right!
Being right isn't always the path to being happy and partner the way you are coming across reminds me of someone who isn't happy! If you have a beef call and let's talk it out but these tirades are an apparent need for something else... My participation has always been in a positive light and not one of sure argument which seems to be your method lately. If you need help with something don't hesitate to call I am willing to listen without commenting until asked for my opinion, but if you don't want to hold a healing convertsation I'll pass.
Frank

P.S.
An outsider will read our reports and see that we got 20 fish and that is all they see.

It's irrelivant what others think and this is an over generalization. Again justification to being right.

I asked you if you fished from a kayak, ever?...and if it's so easy, then why are all of your posts about "NON Yak'd" trips?
...except for the "SkyGreen'ish" see-if-I-can-get-a-reaction stupidity, that you document.
Don't worry about other's posts or WHO may get the wrong impression.....they are adults and if they did wrong?.....I'm sure you'll let DFG know about it and can cite them if needed......Keep up the negative attitude Ken! I'm sure it will make you many more friends in the future.

Group IQ is inversely proportional to the size of the group.

A Steelhead always knows where he is going, but a Man seldom does.

Fish hunter,

From the yak.  13 salmon off of Linda Mar.  30 trips out of Half Moon Bay.  3 trips out of Moss Landing.  maybe 5 trips out of Davenport.  4 trips out of Buck's Landing.  3 trips to Mendo.  Two trips to Topaz and Bridgeport and there is always the Forebay.  And, a trip to Bean Hollow (solo) 3 days before the attack there.

Ken Kickfish (I assume it is from fishing from a float tube) has done a lot of fishing, kayak or otherwise.

He also often posts good info.  Personally I learned some valuable kayak fishing info from Ken and I appreciate him for providing me with that.

He also gets into pointless arguments with people he should just plain stay away from, which from the sounds of it, included his ex-wife, and mooch among others.

My recommendation to the young guys that want to argue, like bsteves, fuzz and sigelvictory is to just accept the f*cked up old guys that fish a lot and post sometimes good stuff, sometimes bad stuff.

Best Regards,
John
