Just read over on the Fish Sniffer that they will be checking boats at LL this year.

I know it's for the best, but what a hassle.  Even though your not going on the opener, I'd still get there early!

They can check my OB all they want they want! This comming trip will be its maiden voyage. How does the boat get checked?  Is there some CSI person with a flashlight and a Q-tip swabbing every surface of the vessel? LOL.....

 Hi all,

5 days till the Loch opens again.   Those that posted eariler about going, are you still planning on making it?  Big J, Ganoderma,  Fish Flogger and KHmunger?
Great bass 2 mentioned bringing his gas grill?
Just wondering if I need get something for lunch or will it be Mandogs on the island?

  A list of maybe's; Hojo, SCallen,Piscean, Fishmaster,ALhobieoutback, and Naerob
for a total 11 from this site.  My buddy Danny will be there, and possibly 2 to 3 others from my work. (Although the last 2 to 3 are not fishermen, There comming to enjoy the lake)

I guess this post is to determine if we want to do a group BBQ lunch on the island, or just take care of your own lunch.  If a group lunch, who's gonna bring what? (So we don't double up on items)
I'll have my vhf (Normal chanel 69)

Weather is forcasted to be nice, no rain!  Mornings will be cool, possibly overcast.  Water sould be glassy!

Janice can you bring those rod holder extension you mentioned eariler?  I haven't installed my scotty mount yet, so I'll be able to look at them and maybe determine which one to get and use.

Really looking forward to this maiden voyage!

See you all therer!

I'm definitely going to be there. I'm also interested to see what is happening with lunch. I'm down to contribute. I just need to know what to bring. Who's running the show?

I love LL but haven't been able to fish there yet.  I've been planning to get up there with my girl friend and do some Blue Gill kayak Fishing in an attempt to get her more interested in fishing.  Reading some older reports, they've pulled some huge blue gills and green sunfish there (over a pound I believe).  Wish I could make it up there w/ you guys, perhaps next time.  I'll be hitting HMB for a little kayak crabbing that weekend.
Good luck and tight lines.

Too bad you can't make this time SF. Please post a report on how your crabbing expedition goes. One of these days I'm going to give it a shot.
