2008 AOTY Sponsorship and Prizes

Hobie has agreed to be the title sponsor for the 2008 NCKA Angler of the Year tournament.   They'll provide the AOTY winner with a their choice of angler edition Hobie Mirage Drive Kayak.  Hobie will also provide all registered participants with a Captain's Duffle Bag full of schwag from sponsors.

The growing list of prizes currently includes:

What am I going to do with a Hobie kayak?  The hog troughs are done, and I should get them any day.

Great prize list Bill!  This year will be another epic!

As for the Custom rod I'm putting up, if you win that prize, you'll have a choice between the following types of rods:
-salmon trolling / mooching rod
-general purpose rockfishing / bay rod
-striper lake trolling / light steelhead rod
-9 wt fly/spin combo rod.

I'll put together details on all of these such that they are all of roughly equal value.  All will have top of the line components and some degree of personalization, choice of colors, etc.
