As for the Custom rod I'm putting up, if you win that prize, you'll have a choice between the following types of rods:
-salmon trolling / mooching rod
-general purpose rockfishing / bay rod
-striper lake trolling / light steelhead rod
-9 wt fly/spin combo rod.

I'll put together details on all of these such that they are all of roughly equal value.  All will have top of the line components and some degree of personalization, choice of colors, etc.

Does this mean that the spider will be out fishing on the salt? What a rare sight

  its going to be tough not to spin the boat around when I spot the next set roll through but im scheduled for a significant amount of time fishing saltin 08. Last years 40$ was about donation, this years 40$ is about domination. there you have it.
