Only 1 days left to meet in Shelter Cove   

For any of you participants who see this post and wonder, I see fishable forecasts for Friday and Saturday.  I'll update this in the coming days, but, believe me, a heavy-looking north wind forecast is usually not a reason to think you won't be able to safely kayak fish at the Cove.

And, as a reminder:  we WILL hold the tournament, rain or shine, windy or not.  I have only had to make it a shore-based tournament one time, and we still had a blast and got to fish offshore some of the days around the event.

Windy shows 14 knot NW winds at 9AM on tourney day, with 7' @ 10 seconds from the west.

Who wants to take a bet that those will not be the conditions?!   

Not to give up my trade secrets, but sheesh!  That's ridiculous.

Anyway, if you didn't register, stay home!

Looking at Stormsurf, they're changing their tune quickly.  It's looking better and better.  Like I said, we'll know more in a couple of days.   

I am really looking forward to seeing the GS Crew.

oh, up until yesterday, I thought this event was the 23rd.  haha... "weekend after Mother's Day" really required me to know when mothers day was. (no kids)

Speaking of "Pro Staff", we need some volunteers to help with the Gyotaku fish printing, I'm told...  It used to be much easier to whip up some collaboration through this thread.  At least a couple of dudes with ~47,000 posts between them and a few of the current diehards are on here. 11 page post - far cry from the 'back in the day' GS post.
