Hey everybody.  First, sorry to the Bullards Bar crew, but I'm shooting for the weekend after Mother's Day from here on out.

I've been buried in projects and life changes, but I have been working on getting things rolling for GSXX and should have the registration up soon.

While I get my shit together with the shirt art, printing details...etc., I am, as usual, considering a format change for the fishing/catching/scoring.

Suggestions are welcome.   

Basing it on uniqueness, like this reddest cabezon ever, is no good, but something special/hard to do/conservation-minded is on my radar.

How about a new category for rare/exotic catch

It's been years since I had a C&R bonus, and it is high on the list of potential changes for this year.

Way back in the day, we did the scoring AOTY style - points per inch for the species.  It got very tough, as Claire and I did all the math for tons of scores that included rockfish, lingcod, greenling, cabezon, salmon and halibut.  Adding in an "extra inch" for C&R, we had a "Sportsman of the Day" award for the highest C&R-only score.

I'll be thinking on it for sure.

You've got some great stories Mark!  I remember the fat hali that followed your swimbait up at Richmnond and your wife reminded you that you had enough fish?  Also you Pac Hali'd as well...
