Things to bring:

*Fishing stuff
*Bring LIVE BAIT if you can (for Stripers) and frozen chovys (for catfishing) and keep 'em on dry ice (got that tip from Angel :smt023)
Also bring night crawlers on slip float for bluegills and crappie....
* rod holders and "strike indicator bells" for catfishing at night.
* lawn chair - there are bench tables on the site but none by the shoreline
* Fire wood for 2 nights - we need PLENTY - it will be COLD at night
* we also need lot's of "light" around the camp site...so bring your lamp...
* "stay warm" clothing
* bring a tent with a rain fly and a floor print or a tarp...just in case it rains
* Head lamp - lot's of gopher holes at the camp site - watch where you walk at night
*combat boots....just in case the tarantulas decide to party with us at night...
* brownies and spam musubi for the mooch  :smt002
* vicks vapor rub....when fishing from shore with others, apply to the spool of the guy or gal set up right next to you (when their not looking)...to insure that you wil catch the fish and not your neighbor  :smt077
* Leave your attitude at home....this will be a fun weekend...don't spoil it for any of us  :smt003

Note: If you catch more fish than me over the weekend...you will not be invited again next year....

Where do you get dry ice?

If anyone catches crappie but doesn't want to keep it, please consider keeping it for me. I have relatives (from the Deep South) who make a salted fish dish from them and haven't been able to get their hands on crappie since moving to Cali three years ago.
