It has nothing g to do with San Diego or Seattle and I didn’t intend for my original comment on the subject to hijack the thread.

  Curious as to what laws and regulations that have been passed that have infringed upon your rights or ability to make a living that has impacted you so much that you want to form a new State or break from the Union (Some State of Jefferson folks will argue for the former while some will argue for the latter).

Jefferson is not and has never been a secessionist movement. 

The list of stupid laws California has passed that impacts me is far too long to list here.  The most important thing to me isn't that stupid laws are passed or not.  It is that we have almost zero representation in Sacramento.  This is about representation, and always has been.

representative democracy sucks.

Import more people there and you'll be fine.

For the others that have weighed in that they hate California - if I were so passionate and held such distaste for it all, I'd leave. Every place has pluses and minuses.

Some people just like to complain. I hear it often on facebook & twitter.

Just start a new SOJ thread and stop posting it SOJ stuff here so that threadjack dies.   First, I don't have the time.  And Second, it might look funny out of context.

Good walleye fishing in WA!  It's the best eating fresh water fish IMHO.

To the original question: I am up here in Bremerton the opposite side of the sound from Seattle. Now I got here at the end of January, but I like it on this side of the sound.  Both Places are going to be crowded, with sucky traffic.  You have 4 seasons here, down south not so much.

Oysters and Dungies are up here in plentiful amounts, not mention Salmon, multiple species of salmon. Rock Fish not so much in these areas.

I was rooting for Portland still.  have fun and fish often.

Seattle.  OP.  tons of rivers.  Alaska is a ferry ride.

If San Diego, then learn to ride and get a cheap Moto. Traffic sucks in a cage.
