The more excited you guys get about this, the more it feels like we are getting the red headed stepchild treatment up here.  Happy for you guys, enjoy your christmas present while we play with our lumps of coal.

maybe I should make separate thread but my question relates to this same subject
I am making little laminate cards with the link for central  shrunk down to pfd pocket size-and basic regs and dates
I always type and ad a small side bar of the fish and sizes

like ling 3 per @ 22"
      cabby 3 per @ 15" 'RCG'
      WSB 3 per @ 28"
and so on down the side bar

for 'central management area' this year they skipped/left out Stripped bass -----3 per at 18" if I remember right...at least for my area 2014 that was the reg
http://www.dfg.ca.gov/marine/mapregs4.asp

but in the San Francisco Management Area -they included their size and per reg...?

guess I'll just use the cntrl 2014 for strippers and do a sharpie fix later if it changed

completed my shakedown run on Sunday with a 2hr paddle. All gear is ready to go.
I cleared a driveway to my fish cleaning/rinse station, finally.

No more lugging wet gear across the property after a long day, just pull in & open a beer. :smt004

I'm pretty happy that shelter cove got the season extended.  That means salmon/rockfish combo trips for an extra almost 2 full months.

The only thing we got in the northern zone was 3 lings instead of two.  No increase in season or depth restriction.

We took a hit on the 5 black rockfish sublimit since those are by far the most common rockfish here.  We also lost at least half of the pacific halibut season.

Yeah I'm afraid you guys got the short end of the straw on this one. Is it due to more commercial  RF fishing up there?

Cameron's stuff is top shelf. Very well crafted. Good luck with the swim baits bro!
