This area is pretty easy to zero in on with Google Earth, I hate to be a downer but aside from the "wow wouldn't it be cool to own some of that" factor,

All you get is a yak landing spot that's only usable on the very best days, at low tide, with no easy way up the cliff and then only after you've horsed the yak down the trail to Bear Harbor, or, look at it as a hike in camp spot, where, if you hiked in your yaks are going to be back at the parking area a mile or 2 away with some pretty steep terrain in between.

Or to shorten it up, I'm no longer interested.  Still a cool thought...............

Still a cool idea. But a little too remote for me.
On this map, it shows a chunk of Private Property and it's labeled Duffy's Reef nearby, so I bet this is the parcel. Go to pg 30.

Oh wait, Bigfoot already found this map. This document is pretty cool, with lots of interesting info.

I like the idea of buying something less-remote if we're gonna go that route.
My dad has a nice buildable lot in Shelter Cove that we could buy. It's right here on Bambi Court.....

I also owned 2 lots in Shelter Cove.  Thinking about selling one of them to build a log house (NCKA Club House) on the other lot :smt003  One of them is on Sea View and the other is on Redwood.  Both of them are flat lots and in sewer district.

Hi, how's the weather down in NorCal?  Up here in SW Washington summer has officially began at a
whopping 80 degrees.   Man, July up here was collllld.

By reading everyone's post here it seems as though a this forum group was thinking about trying to make a clubhouse or something on this specific property.

It's a cool idea, however, I feel that this property would be better suited for a few individual yakers who
go yaking hardcore, wilderness style.

This is a remote place for meetings and such if that was the idea.

This very rare 21 acres would best be left for possibly a few individuals who know the area and could figure out how to turn the land into their benefit.

Many, many camp spots though with a very clean spring fed creek.

The beach is accessible at high tide and very accessible by yak at low tide.
I live in SE Asia and go yaking around tropical islands and camp.  Caught a huge 20kg Barramundi near Phuket about two months ago when the seasons were changing.

Back in US to help family and sell this property to the right owners.
Note:  We will not sell this property to developers, hunters, or for any commercial purposes.

This is a very historic piece of land that dates back to the gold rush as Duffy, also near Willits, moved up there and worked the land to live.

It's kinda the same way now, but with a GPS and a yak.

Cool runnings and keep America strong,

A few years ago my son and I drove from Shelter Cove to Bear Harbor.  I remember the road was dirt, narrow, and not very many straight spots.  I was worried about vehicles coming from the other way since you would not be able to see them until they were almost right in front of you.  It seemed to be a very isolated area.  I doubt if the road would be passable during bad weather.  I don't remember how long the drive in was but it took a while.  When we got to Bear Harbor we parked and walked to the beach, I can remember smelling Elk bedded down in the brush but I could not see them.
