And for the record, I agree with the sentiment ... if you don't like the rules, then don't play.

taking a photo of a fish has become easy, has it not?

Apparently not.  I got 1/2 dozen AOTY entries this week that I needed to DQ.   :smt003

Me included!   :smt005  But that doesn't mean I want to take a crap on your standard.  Hold the line, Bossman.   :smt001

Thanks, Allen.   :smt001

Also, FWIW, I will allow plenty of leeway for someone who makes a good effort and shows that they caught, measured and released a qualifying fish.

Will it count if I release it into my tankwell?

Oh man, crash is now the "maybe man".   I'm officially rescinding your offer of AOTY employment.  I need someone with a higher level of fortitude.   :smt006

Anything I can do to help?  How about review the top 12 so we have 2 runner ups in case of some mistakes were made by the top ten?

I like the rules.  I think that the more skilled anglers have a better chance of winning as opposed to someone who just gets a lucky fish.  If someone doesn't want to release their big fish they don't have too, but they probably won't win.  I personally like to compete and believe it makes me a better fisherman so I've been working on my photo/video skills and feel prepared to win this thing!

If you use a GoPro, try to break up your video instead of one longass video that you have to scroll through to find your C&R fish. That should make the review process more efficient.
