GoPro Release Videos at GS7

Just another thought to cut down the chaos.  Maybe videos submitted should only be of the measurement, not otw time.  Video reviewers would only need to see a few minutes from each angler and really cut down the time associated with the analysis.

I have an adapter so I can plug in to my truck.  We can set Pat up in there and not have to worry about battery life, and hopefully it'll provide some ability to focus being out of the wind and commotion.

Yeah, if we're reviewing video-releases at the ramp or cleaning station I have a power inverter that plugs into a cig outlet. If we're reviewing video-releases @ the Tides, we can probably plug into an outlet there. 

Another thought, contestants give you the video release info on the beach and then they can actually drop off the sd card with Pat or whoever.   They can label the card with their contestant number and pick up the card later.  There could be a bottleneck otherwise and technical difficulties always come into play.

Only going to review videos from people who place in the Top 10.

Yes - only videos from those in the top 10 will be reviewed, and those people will need to be available at 230PM - the official end of check-in.

I prefer to have all scoring finalized at the check-in at the beach, so we'll shoot for that goal and fall back on The Tides if we need shelter from weather or other circumstances require it.

Sorry if this has been covered but will the score cards be in the swag bag on Friday night? If me or my team isn't in the running I'de rather not clog the area. If you keep a running board up with the 10th place points we'll know if we need to be there or not. Any coaches out there have a score board to borrow?

So when you are done fishing, please pickup your scorecard at the Check-in station.
Then go fill it out & return it.
If you need help measuring fish, I will assist you. But please do NOT bring a whole stringer of fish to measure each one!
If it looks like you are going to place in the Top 10 and you have a video-release, I will review it when you turn in your scorecard.

Not to stir the pot, but what happens if the scoring is so close and someone in say, 12th place has enough bonus points to catapult them to the top?
Does this mean their release video doesn't get reviewed and they are stuck with 12th?

You figure in your release bonus points when you turn in your score card.  Then you only have to have it reviewed if your point total puts you in the top 10.

Would they not fill out their card as though they've earned the bonus points and then just have it verified via video?  That is my assumption although I haven't paid particular attention to the details since I have no plans of placing.

Josh is correct. Factor in your C&R bonus points when you turn in your scorecard.

And please remember: the C&R Bonus was conceived as a means to limit our impact on the fishery and reward those who choose to release their fish. Yes, bonus points are good, but it's all about the fish! So don't abuse the bonus by "releasing" fish that are not going to survive. Because that's some greedy bs. And we're better than that.

Another caveat.
What if 2 people in the top 10 erroneously scored their card?
Do they get DQ'2 and #11 and #12 move up? Then their videos get reviewed?
