Not a report, but not sure where else to post it.   Report: Skunk today at HMB.

At 7:00am on channel 16.  Boat reported kayaker on board needing medical assistance.  It was report a PB run into kayaker right outside the jaws. Visibility was good at the time, so not sure what happened.  I can imagine a bunch of PBs want to go to their spots and speed up right outside the jaws.  Kayaker reported back pain.  Emergency vehicles were seen at the launch ramp within 5 minutes.  What's sent chills down my spine was "no propeller marks on the kayaker" reported by the boat.  Hope everything is okay with kayaker.

Please be safe and be seen.

Thanks for the report. PB's worry me much more than sharks. Even in Tomales one needs to have their head on a swivel. So far there has not been an issue but it just takes one or two seconds of inattention on the part of a PB going 20 knots and the kayak plus operator is toast. Anytime I hear an outboard all attention is turned in that direction.

crazy!!! No excuse for not paying attention, especially on big weather forecasted days. lots of responsibility comes with being at the helm.  we were skunked at hmb from ritz to cans and back and forth and back and forth. fish counter said they saw 1 nice 25lb fish come in on a yak! Nice job to whoever that was!!!

Working in the icu I got to see up close what a propeller will do to a human body    Drunk boater hit a kid on a kayak in broad daylight

Hmb has a lot of traffic so swivel head is definite part of the survival gear

Several years ago one of the sixpacks was coming at me full throttle out at the green can and i turned my tarpon in last seconds or it would’ve hit. It came so close it threw me and the yak sideways off the wake  Passengers in the back saw me in the water flipping them off, not sure what the captain was doing

Most of Europe has strict boat licensing laws according to HP and other factors.   Here any jackass can run a boat

I hope the kayaker is OK.

Boaters are the reason that I use the sail on my AI, even when there is no wind.
I don't like stuff that sucks.

Going Fishing?
Winds from the south, hook in
    the mouth.
Wind from the east, bite the least.
Wind from the north, further off.
Wind from the west, bite the
    best.

+1 prayer. I am thankful to read your text, it must be very painful more than we can imagine. May God's peace be with you in hospital. Have a smooth recovery!
