7/24 HMB - PB run into kayaker

That's crazy!  Wishing you a complete recovery!  ... and I hope the boater that plowed a kayaker learned something today about otw safety!   

Hearing the pb was going 15-20 knots at the time of incident and there were lots kayakers nearby.

Please tell bob I am beyond grateful for his help. I am immobile at the moment and just fucked up.  But bob and his crew saved my life.

It was me, I am happy to be alive. At trauma center now, fractures everywhere, including some Ls that are a mess. Hopefully I get to update everybody if I make it.

I'm so sorry you experienced what is probably the worst kayaking nightmare for many of us. I hope you have a speedy recovery.

Sorry this happened. Hope you feel better soon and find some motivation. Before I ever fished from a kayak or even a skiff rental, a bike accident gave me a concussion plus three broken bones. Being sidelined focused the mind and smoothed over fears and hangups that had held me back. You probably have some rehab ahead of you that will require warrior mode. Good luck and take it slow.

Thx u all for the well wishes and encouragement.  If there is one lesson learned,  go out of the way immediately if u see a boat coming ur way.  I should've done that instead of trying to raise their attention.  But it was a split second thing.
