I just called and was advised for those coming from the Monterey area can register at their store in Moss Landing. Need to get registered soon. My son and I will make seven registered as of this afternoon. Need 25 to make it happen. Proceeds from this annual event goes to the Monterey Bay Salmon and Trout Restoration Project. Remember, after Sept. 2nd the entry fee goes up to $35. There wasn't much notice for this event, at least I was not aware of it. But, this is a good event worth supporting if you can.

I think I will be there for this derby. I faxed my registration and will pay $25 at the derby day. They said Okay to do this.

My dad (rocketman) and I (slowmo) are in. hope it goes. As for beginners luck, good luck, pun not intended, we have been out of the harbor several time and have yet to catch anything. But this time...

I won't make it.
Picking up a 2006 Klamath 18ft CC in Pacifica that day. (Yeah...I know...a boat...heresey) After much research (and a lot of encouragement from me!) my dad finally found a boat he likes.

Damn... Looks like I signed in 3 days late to enter  :smt010  Or do you think they will still accept late entries at this point?  Sounding like a small turnout, but I would love to get back out there and fish with some yakers!

They will still accept the entry. Just download the entry form from the website and you can fax it in to the shop. You will just have to pay the late entry tourny fee.

Good luck to all!

BTW, for all that are going...

When Frank and I went to Santa Cruz Harbor, we were a bit confused about the parking, Meters... Huh?

Well, the way it works, just park, and the Harbor master comes by and Gives you a " Ticket "  warning...

to pay up @ the Harbor Master's office right behind the launch ramp before you leave...$6.00

No Problem ....See ya There... :smt006.... Danglin
