Awhile back someone mentioned about a powder of some sort that you can snort or swallow to wake and keep you alert while driving.
I cannot recall what it was and the search function did not help.

Anyone remember ? :smt006

Not sure about the powder thing. But one thing that helps me is to take a 15min power nap. After kayaking, if I'm having issues keeping my eyes open during driving, I just roll into a Safeway or supermarket parking lot and doze off for 15min or so. I find myself a bit refreshed afterwards and that helps immensely and I subsequently have no problem in driving.
I did try Red Bull and that 5 hour energy drinks and they didn't work for me.

What is cocaine.   :smt044

Joking aside, why not just try an energy drink?  Honestly, better yet, just don't drive if thats what it takes to stay awake behind the wheel...just pull over and power nap or something.

In my driving experience, if the driving time is not too long (less than an hour), chewing/eating something can help keep you awake (much better than washing face with wet rag).

It comes off the track real fast what I wrote something like that. LOL.

If I recall, it's some sort of pill where you can grind it to make a powder and then just breath in. Does it sound better now to use the word "breath in"?
It isn't any of the drug. I remembered it was mentioned it's sold on amazon. I just could not remember what it was called. Maybe I should do another round with the search function again.

Are you talking about caffeine supplements - like NoDoz? Why not just get coffee/tea/soda? Sugar can do wonders for short term energy too, maybe some candy, or even better, some fruit?

This almost seems like the most lowkey way to solicit drugs on a public forum.  Seems like a harmless question.   :smt044

+1

Maybe then we can dispense with this sleep thing entirely. Just think of all that extra fishing time...
Are you pondering what I’m pondering?
