My feet are screaming for a change. Anyone have a favorite for Paddling/Hobie Peddling/Steering with a Prowler?

I was thinking of dive boots but wanted to see if there was a low top option with a hard sole that people were using.

I rock cut off waders to keep the rest of me warm so "colder" options are appreciated.

I like these for pedaling my Hobie, and they work well out off the water too.

They're sometimes on sale for a more reasonable price.

I'm not into the whole tacticool thing, but these shoes are awesome. They are basically beefed up amphibious Chuck Taylors. You can even wear fins over them: Altama OTB Maritime Assault
They come in low and high top.

Somehow, I thought this was headed towards a Croc thread, then devolving to Darius and his “Pinkies” - wow, real shoes?  :smt003

Adidas makes some neat looking water shoes.

I have these: https://www.basspro.com/shop/en/huk-attack-fishing-shoes-for-men

Haven't had em long but they seem decent so far. Just size up for your layering needs

I really like these SEAC dive boots. They keep my feet warm and are great on rocks etc.

Thanks for the recs. I'll do some shopping to see what makes sense. As they say if you care for your feet your body will thank you.

Lol i've been wearing something similar to Crocs (too fat for peddling for me) but now I've got a Talaxian spot tan which is amusing until I see family and they wonder if I have some weird infection.

I have these and love them.  I was amazed at the quality and comfort.

You can’t have everything, where would you put it?

The NRS Wetshoes are amazing.  I agree with Croker.  Usually I'm "meh" about stuff like this but these were such an improvement over my diving booties.  Regular diving booties don't offer the stiffness needed for pedaling.

Does anyone else’s shoes stain their kayak? I am barefoot in the kayak to avoid black doo doo stains then put them back on for launching and docking.

Is high so feet stay dry when launching
Dry feet, warm feet
I see the new one has a lace up vs velcro

Man, those HUK shoes and the other sneakers look so fashion forward and comfortable. From fish guts to date night, functional everyday! Lol. Seriously never considered shoes like that. I might try...although I might need matching wetsuit. Lol.

I wear these...they work but can get hot and if they aren’t washed out and dried thoroughly in sunlight, they can develop a stench. Not date night worthy. 2021 plans are brewing...
