I don't care about spot burning.  Hell, I'll tell the whole world right now that THE BEST spot for kayak fishing for MASSIVE rockfish and halibut is on the San Mateo Coast:  Franklin Point.  Just be careful that you don't drift south into the State Marine Reserve near there... Ano Nuevo.   :smt003

Hey love the "and so on" clip  maybe need a new thread for this but,

If you could have only three movies to take quotes from, and could only use quotes from those movies to post here on NCKA, what would the movies be?  Me:
Waynes World
Fast times at Ridgemont High
Apocolypse Now.

For real spot burning, I'll need the coordinates of the launch.   :smt004

But it looks like south is where all the structure is. I guess if you stay far enough west you can stay out of the MPA SMR.

The only thing that's gonna get eated is the BiG LiMitZ I'm gonna take home. I'll be sure to live stream it to all my followers in case something, um, happens to my camera. I wouldn't want the footage of all the lip-ripping I'm going to do to be lost.

Oh, wait, I don't actually have any followers... never mind.

I’ll follow you . I don’t have any friends so it’ll even out ... :smt044 :smt044

Thanks, but to follow me, I'd actually have to have a channel.

You know, Año Nuevo really doesn't look that bad until November...

That bad ..LOL... I wonder if 12602 will show up like last year .. early to show , early to leave ..LOL

this from my buddy Sean Van Sommeran PSRF.org.  I've had the honor to take 4 trips with him to ANO on tagging expiditions. I've seen them up close and personal, lucky from the deck of a solid 30-foot plus boat!

I dove at Ano Nuevo once, and I dove at Franklin many times.  Wish I had a yak back then.
