Elk Potluck Thread

Like every year, its the food as much as the fishing....Here's what we're bringin'

1) Monster pot of pulled pork and fixins
2) Abalone if the weather cooperates
3) Big ol birthday cake for Jelly
4) Keg of premium micro-brew

Of course I will be up early Sat. and Sun. brewing coffee in the kitchen too

1) 2 big Tri-Tips

2) Cream Cheese spreads for appetizers.

3)Bean,Veggie,Avocado,Citrus Salsa(killer with fish).

4) Wine

 

Coconut chicken curry over rice as served at Mendo last year.
Some kind of appetizers-probably fried!

Will there be access to an oven?

1. Tomatoes from the garden for bruchetta, marinated and fresh eating

2. Peaches Cobblers if access to an oven

3. Fettichini cream sauce pesto

4. 2 cases of wine

Wow, Pulled pork, coconut curry 

I'll bring fresh tomatoes and basil from the garden and a butternut squash soup.

1 keg of beer from Rubicon brewing
 hopefully fresh Salmon,I will be fishing FB  on friday.
 I will post more as we figure out what we will need for the long road trip.

The Community Center has a commercial kitchen...awesome space for getting your cook on!

Anyone bringing some charcoal? I would but I have no room in my car. If anyone will haul it I will buy it. Pork roast are better from the pit

I'll bring Chef Stefano's fish taco sauce, plates and plasticware.

Sean - no encore for the Mexican corn? I'll grab a cooler full of cobs, and most of the condiments, if you'll bring the special shake-on seasoning.

I have lots of plastic ware, plates cups etc. from a party.  Not sure what I bring yet.
