I agree. If a 5,000 lb white shark really wants to take a bite, there's no way that shark shield is stopping him. Like that one shark that is out there that has tasted human blood and liked it and has adapted and now enjoys eating humans... he's out there guys. Megladon too

I can't say I've ever heard that from any of the researchers regarding GWS's, - where is this info from?

I have one simple question. How large of a gun would you need to tame a shark in an unprovoked attack? 357?

Shotgun to the face...or RPG.
If you ain't first, you're last.

SG. Mag loaded alternate with shot and rifled slugs?

It would all depend on your aim and how deep the water is (slows and breaks up bullets rather quickly). You could probably do the job if with a .22 if you hit the brain. They don't have bone either, just cartilage.

I saw that last night, read it while I was sitting in my living room looking at my GWS comparison wall. It's 16'6. Seems thinking of a 10-12 footer is scary, 18-19 is somehow just a different thought pattern in my head. Damn

Silly or non-existent sources I'd wager.

We should let OCEARCH now about a 4000 lber in our waters and be on the record books.  Considering through out their world travels the biggest they've tagged is 2076 lbs.

Have they talked to Ralph collier?  Seems like a good place to start.
