There's lots of composite trim options out there that would work for your arch. Generally I'm not a fan of PVC, but for durability it's hard to beat here.

This flat stock from Certainteed can be heat-formed to your desired radius:
https://www.certainteed.com/trim/heat-formed-arches/

Or you can always go the custom route:
https://www.architecturaldepot.com/ARCPMCK.html

Aside from that, christainbrat has the right idea. Glue up half of an octagon that you can trim to a half-arch.

Thanks Exhibita, that Restoration Millwork® Trimboards can be heat-formed into curves and arches is looking good.  I contacted them for more information about this product availability and pricing.

Update☺️
Just when I think i’ll work on it again there is something else to do. But last week I finally put on the insulating wrap and chicken wire with another coat of vermiculite. Got the chimney on there too. Yesterday I lit it up for the first time and it held heat. Tomorrow my pizza peel comes in from Amazon so the cooking begins.

I am seeking advices/suggestions on my next SIP project.  I am planning to replace the rotten frame on my window (see attached pictures).  The section I am concerned with is the "half-moon" shape board.  Thinking about replace it with plywood (cutting out from a 4'x8' plywood, but looking for a better lasting material.  Any tips or suggestions are appreciated.
Looks to be intact-ish still, you could soak it with  Rot Doctor  https://www.rotdoctor.com/   (soaks in then hardens to an epoxy) Then simply wood filler and sanding followed by a nice coat of paint.

Sounds like an easy option.  Thanks Mojo, I'll do some research on this product.

West Marine also carries this.     It's called  "Penetrating epoxy "  very thin viscous epoxy.  I've used it many times repairing boat frames, window frames and more.    To get it to harden faster,, apply heat gun / hair dryer / or put it in the sun.    Bondo makes a  Polyester based product (for home use) that I use often as a wood filler.   Sands fairly easy , but really tough material.

With the help of my dad and brother, I converted the dirty carport in front of my house into an outdoor sitting area. We started by building a planter box/divider wall to close it off from the street, and then added patio furniture. An outdoor rug is on its way.

Very nice sitting area.  Great to enjoy a cold one or glass of wine.

Outdoor space is critical to any kind of in-person socializing these days.
That really turned out nice, like an outdoor living room :smt007. I really dig the wooden planter box.
I'd probably add a nice icebox to reduce the times I'd have to stand up and go inside :smt003

Bath Tub Updates:

*Fiberlay Resin has been an absolute pita, epoxy/catalyst ratios have been super difficult to work with, can’t predict the kick times, super temperamental.  Switched to TAP branded resin and work has progressed nicely.

*Reglassed the sole, floor is stiff enough to play basketball on now.

*Details.  The back corners of classic whalertubs have a tendency to let water pool up and not drain.  I staggered layers of glass back there to so it ramps down and water will make its way to the sump.  Not super obvious but an enhancement nonetheless.

*This rig has seen a lot of water in its day and has the bruises to prove it.  The bow looks like it got in a fight with a boat dock.  Whoever restored it before I got ahold of it did a crappy job.....I had to redo the repair.

Seems like the closer I get the more little things I decide to fix.  This week I’ll be replacing the brass drain tubes and glassing in some fiberglass tubes so I never have to do them again.  I’ll also be adding a couple of extra glass layers where I’ll be putting the cooler and bait tank.  Slowly but surely.

Ok the back yard is almost done!

Tree removed, tree roots removed, several yards or dirt out, concrete work, artificial turf, and finished the pavilion today. Still lots to do but I’m very excited that it’s hopefully going to be together before the end of the summer. I’ve only lived in the house for 10 years so it’s time to make the backyard nice!
