Is this the beach they filmed the Toyota comercial with the red truck and the helicopter?

Almost.  This is the beach that Toyota filmed the time lapse surf cam of the kayaker going out and the tide coming in, taking away his Toyota in the surf and when the tide goes out the Toyota floats back and the kayaker paddles in as if nothing happened.  Oh and Victoria's Secret had a shoot there recently as well.

Mooch, the hot bite is now, not necessarily Saturday when the winds pick up again.  You need to call in sick tomorrow and fish Moss ASAP and then come up for our little derby.  Besides who wants to be out on a kayak at Moss on the weekend with all the other weekend warriors in PBs.  Be safe!

  I wasn't trying to be brave by launching at Goat Rock, I thought the south lot is totally protected from the north. It sticks way out and it's like a pond on the south side, right where there's parking.
Does anyone know if there's a gate?

  Don--I'll put in with you there if it looks good. I just don't know what it's like at that spot. There's a beach up the road where tourists die every year (Wright's Beach?), because it's so steep.
