Bushy,
Sent you a text, went out at first light above New Brighton. Looked at the cliff from Depot Hill down towards Cement Ship with binoculars, didn't see anything on shore, or out in the surf. Tide was still pretty high.
Good luck with the search today.

Sorry bro! That's rough! I'm surprised they got loose.

I'll be in SC tomorrow at Amadeos thing around 3. I'll bring binos and watch the forums.

Big Man Ben stepped up thanks so much!!!  And Forrest Scruzfish scoured local beaches talked to lifeguards, rangers etc.  No recovery of the two remaining yaks yet.

yellow Ultra Trident 4.7 and Grey Camo Predator MX.

Guesss I gotta just wait to see if they wash up and authorities get alerted.  In the meantime, I'll keep my eyes on Craigslist oh yeah.

Thanks all

Bushy

Long shot, but we're staying at Mt. Hermon the 2nd through the seventh.  Thursday I can make it to the coast but wouldn't have the knowledge of where to search by then.  If you had any estimates of drift, I would hit as far as manresa or beyond or nearer for you. :smt006

I was slammed for my recent post about kayak insurance by someone saying it was a waste of money and would never be needed. To me it seems incredibly cheep even if there is not much of a chance I would ever use it.

Events like this are the reason for having coverage.

Bushy, if you do loose one or both kayaks and do not have insurance start a "Go Fund Me" campaign and I would be happy to contribute.

Same here.  You let me borrow your Predator for my father a couple years back.  I would be happy to return this favor.  I have two T13s you can use if need be.  Just let me know :smt006

Wish I’d seen this sooner. Would be glad to help search tomorrow if that would be useful...

Crazy, definitely check with the harbor master (Moss too) because most boaters would call in a seemingly-abandoned kayak. I’d also keep my vhf radio on.
Others beat me to it, but same deal if you need to borrow a kayak or two! But I’m fresh outta Ocean Kayak/Old Town yaks...only have Hobie, Jackson, Eddyline, and Stealth kayaks at the moment.

Also...steelhead season opens tomorrow :-)
