Since we don't have an end of the season Anchor Bay event this year, I was thinking we should do a Fish-N-Chill. Just some fishing, a little MBF and lots of food and friendship. Any suggestions on when and how to go about putting this together?

Any suggestions on when and how to go about putting this together?

Simple:  Pick a weekend, check availability at site, and post a F 'n' C.

When does crab season open? As long as crab or ab are open....preferably ab. Ab closes normally Nov 30th.

I'm good either way  :smt001

Assuming we don't get a repeat of last season, the opener is scheduled for Nov 5th.

I suppose we could do it on the crab opener on the 5th. The 26th is Thanksgiving weekend. I don't see anything else on the calander. The 5th, 12th, or the 19th?

Does anyone prefer one over the other? I don't know if Anchor Bay is a good place to be on opening day for Crab season. I'm thinking one of the other choices would be better so everyone can concentrate on crab at their favorite crab spot on opening day. Then we can do crab on the side along with rockfish at Anchor Bay. I'll check the campground and make sure it isn't booked solid and pick a day and just cross my fingers the weather is with us.
