I sure will be. I believe Brian the sturgeon slayer will be there also. I'm hoping the conditions will cooperate. Anchor Bay is a nice spot to catch fish or crab and a nice spot to chill.

Sounds good, I switched from this weekend to next. TexasBoy is probably going to be disappointed but kids have some things to do and this way I can go fishing now.

Does anyone know if there is any sand left on the beach after the HUGE waves ?, and is there any spots still open ?

I'm at ABC now. There is still sand, though the beach lost about three feet of it last week. The sand is still going down a bit every day.

Crab opener was hairy as hell, but some PB guys went out and brought in about 170 really nice crabs and almost no fish. One guy got about two feet off air under his boat cresting a wave trying to get outta Chicken Cove.

I got here on the 2nd and could have gone out today for the first time since that day. Too many errands today, though. It's getting better every day. Maybe tomorrow. will let y'all know.

;-D
Warning! Retiree; Knows it all and has plenty of time to tell you about it.

Remember to practice safe knots, because big fish don't just break your line, they also break your heart.

5 days to go. The forecast is going to need a major turnaround if we are going to be able to pull this off.  :smt012

Willy Weather shows 12@15 sec and 12knt winds. I'm getting the feeling this is a lost cause.
