Im liking this idea... I got a season pass there...need to use it!!!!!!!!!  Glad to be back online so I dont miss out on this sort of fun stuff!!

lot's of people go to HMB or Doran for crab opener.
I will be at Doran Beach if you do it opening week I will have to say I am out.
any other weekend will work better as long is not during hand reel contest,, simply fishing, kayak wars, etc...lol

I think you're right on the crab opener. I don't see anything else scheduled in November so I think we're in the clear.

I've settled on November 19th. The 12th is already almost sold out. She said they still have 22 sites available for that weekend.

Dang! We have reservations at ABC for Nov 2nd-18th. I'll try to pre-stretch some fish lips for y'all.

The season closes October 31 north of Point Arena.  It is open to Dec 31 south of Point Arena.

You are right. I don't know what I read that made me think it was in the mendocino district. I even have it listed in my regulation summary as being in the SF district.

It is a nice place for an event. I'm hoping we can get a surf and sand thing going for the potluck. Some fresh caught fish and crab would be a nice addition to the always outstanding potluck fare.

It's getting closer. I hope the conditions cooperate. The rainy season seems to be getting off to a strong start. Hope to see you guys otw. 

I'm heading to MN for the last chance at Muskie before the ice covers the lakes. If I didn't already have all of that setup I'd come up for this.
