I know it's early but the forecast is not looking good  :smt011, sure hope it changes for the better. Either way we'll be there.

Agreed, I'm super bummed about the Pineapple Express that's on it's way  :smt013  Rain is ok but the swells and wind have me worried...

Maybe it'll change dramatically, but if the weather forecast is even remotely true, even the harbor will be a dangerous washing machine and launching could be a nightmare.  Nearly 20 foot waves and strong south winds for Saturday.

Be safe fellas.  Maybe a good day to relax on the beach.  I was going to go to a dive comp that day but decided to just work on the house.

It is looking brutal on the forecast, we'll see if it holds. 21.5' at 16 seconds!

Yep, I am saving the travel and camping money. I like hang with y'all, but not that far away. I am game for almost all conditions as many of yo know. Even half of that forecast will suck and not be real safe. Be safe all if you do launch.

The weather gods have not blessed us.  The condition reports for the 15th are not good and getting worse.  We have a couple options here but need to make the decision quickly.  We need to see swell reports for the following weekend, 10/22, as soon as possible.  There should be an official announcement from the Tournament Director tomorrow as to the status of TRW 2016

Bummer.

I'm out. Be safe!  Also, thanks PacOut for hosting TRW. It's one of my favorite tournaments, and I appreciate all of the work that you put in it.

If the tournament post ones to the following weekend I believe that is good IF the weather looks to cooperate. With that said, I am still unable to attend, even if the water is glass flat. I really wanted to make it to this as it is one of my favorite places to fish. Good luck to all either weekend.

It would be way better to move the tournament to Humboldt bay than changing dates.  I don't know how flexible people are on dates.  I know I'm not.  In order of preference for me:

1.  Change body of water to Humboldt Bay
2.  Cancel tournament and have party, potluck and raffle
3.  Move date.

I know I'm probably being selfish, but I would be in favor of changing location over changing date.
First, I have already paid for my camp space and was told that if I canceled, I would be charged a fee.
Second, I don't have another weekend available before the season ends.

With that said, I really don't care so much about a mud marlin derby either
