State Science Fair

Both my daughter's placed first in their school science fair projects a couple weeks ago & got to compete at the County level today.  My youngest placed 4th in her category & my oldest placed 1st in her category and is off to compete at the State level in May!!!!!  Like father, like daughter!!!!

I won county & attended state my freshman year of high school.  She's peaking early @ 7th grade 

.....and none of the projects had anything to do with fishfinders

They both did great & best of all got to learn a bunch about scientific research along the way.

Congrats! I look forward to those years with my son. Have you gotten her in to any of the STEM programs for girls? I have a friend at Lockheed that can direct you to some of those programs.

Not yet.  Just looked it up.  Sounds ideal for them.  My oldest has expressed an interest in engineering & science so....  My only let down this evening was the lack of any representative from their school at the County Science Fair awards ceremony. . Me thinks it's time to have a talk with the board of directors about this.
