Bill,

I'd love to chat you up about this sometime.  My daughter would love to go to state.  She got first as a fifth grader this year and is already planning next year's project for her first year of eligibility for state.

For sure.  I'm going to advise my kids to start their projects this summer for next school year.

That's awesome! Congrats!

I also competed in the science fair as a youngster, and the memories still stick with me. Actually, mostly what I remember is surfing Malibu with my dad while we were in down in So Cal for the State finals, or semifinals, or whatever they were. Good times...

My daughter & I are off to the state science fair in a few days where she will be competing side to side with 1000 of the states brightest science junkies!

I get a good 6 hour drive to prep her for the multiple interviews, Q&A round sessions and general exhibit.
