Goals for Kayak Fishing 2016

Last year I got back some of my Dads` old Penn and Newell thumb-burners ...a family member unintentionally neglected them..Thanks to the great members here at NCKA ,parts and services were donated for repair and upgrade...getting paired up on some rods and ready to fish this coming season..they are more than just my Dads` old reels to me  they represent the past, good and bad, what could have been and a resurrection ..so this year my goal is to go old school for my Dad

My goal is to take my boys fishing as much as possible! Going to get out to Clear Lake this weekend! And I need to start making sure they catch some fresh water fish!

My only goal is to have a bunch of fun chillin' with my A-Hull mugs and SCSS dudes (and dudette!).

And to catch a YT at SCI that is more than "rat" status. 

Fish.  Spearfish and line fish to be more specific.

Have to say Thanks to the SCSS for allowing me tag along ..had some good days out here

1. Shoot a Striper in the Ocean
2. Dive as many different reefs as possible
3. Get both girls out fishing with me in the kayak
4. Get a new PB of either Ling, Cab, Verm, Sheep, Copper, Halibut, Olive, Grassy, Black, Blue, Ab or Scallop...don't really care which...would be stoked on any of those. 
5. Have as much fun diving and paddling as possible.

Catch a salmon from my kayak.  Catch a 40+ inch Ling.  Unload surplus rods, reels and camping gear.

Mine take my son as much as I can...
He is too busy with school stuff like wrestling.

To get out more and play, fishing or not. camping with friends. chillin 'round a fire. Also to get My daughter on some quality fish so she can get up there in JAOTY See ya's at the headwaters swap and camping at comanche fri night! Sat night somewhere too (we're trailer trashin it all weekend)

Get out to the salt

Go on as many adventures with as many people as possible. 

A new PB brown trout (current PB is 28.5") and a mackinaw over 30".  They're both carryover goals, with the brown goal dating back to 2011 and the mack to last year (sooo many attempts at those moody MFers last spring).
