I'm surprised the Coast Guard would be checking tackle...

Back when i was in the navy we use to call them puddle-jumpers.They pulled me over in my tarpon while trolling at muir beach last year during salmon season.They checked my license and made me real in my gear so they could check for barbs.The young one made a comment about my 2 empty pliny bottles in the back but decided not to fuck with me. He said he was doing me a favor. I didn't bother to thank him as i too had lost a lot of time to the wind.

My check and forms are in the mail Eric. I also requested a long sleeve tourney shirt as well. Look forward to it. Its a beautiful area up  your way .

Just sent in my application etc.....fully knowing I won't be able to attend unless a family member decides to ELOPE or call the whole thing off  !!!!!! Keeping my fingers crossed they do (elope)!!!!
