I knew I was going to miss out on a good time.    :smt010

Three deliveries arrived on Friday..  parts I'd been waiting weeks for had finally had arrived.  By late friday afternoon the rain started,  I just couldn't bring myself to fight  the traffic through SF...   Truck was all packed,  firewood , food, fishing gear....     " Next year " I told myself.
Glad y'all had enough of a break to get OTW.    Love reading your reports.    :smt006

I had so much FUN!  Rain, wind, waves made me feel alive on the ocean.  The whales were great to see.  I had hooked into something big, was praying that I would at least see what was on the end of the line when my swivel failed.  2 minutes later, whales cruised by.  Happy!
The food was great but the people were greater still.  Everyone was genuinely glad to see me and to come up and greet me. Took about half an hour after I got out of my truck before I could start to set up camp with the friends and neighbors coming up to greet me and hand me a beer.  I never feel that welcome with my blood family.
Thanks Eric.  You are the source for so much joy and fellowship.

"We had fun " Thanks to Eric, Claire, T.S.Jack & crew, Doug, Brandi, Big Jim and all the others that helped make this another great event. If you did not like the weather just wait a half an hour for something else  :smt044. We got clipped by a thunderstorm on Tuesday evening 24th and about 40 Osprey came out to ride the wind ( very cool )       ( pics. to follow ). Missed the excavation, ( backhoe & bulldozer )but caught a glimpse of the Ford Raptor being hauled off. Spare tire and 1 shock looked great.... :smt003. It was great to see some old faces and to meet some new ones as well.
I can hardly wait for next year......start the countdown,

Till then, tight lines...
Tim

Best GS yet for me. I had soooo much fun. I stayed at the Tides inn friday til wednesday. My friend Anthony shared the room with me and Danglin crashed on my couch a few nights. My friend Jose(the spaniard) came down from Washington for the event and stayed in the room next door. I trolled every day for salmon. Of course all i caught were lings and blacks. Thats ok cause i also got a lot of great advice on upping my salmon game from Tiny and loletaeric. I mostly enjoyed spending time yukking it up and drinking wine with all my NCKA brothers and sisters. Thanks to all the people who came together and made the tacoshack happen. It takes a village to raise a tacoshack and fishtacos make the world a better place. One of the highlights for me was watching the dueling guitar jam sessions with Danglin and the spaniard in our room. Two guys who had never met with entirely different styles came together and blew my mind with completely spontaneous improvisational guitar and vocals. Superfuckingcool. I have to get these two together again to play.It was one of the coolest things i have ever seen. Perhaps at Albion.

Thanks KayakJack, and thanks for the couch surfing,  Abking caught a little of us,  Thanks Eric!!!

I would love to get the video that Anthony shot…

  Ciao for now
