Planning on a more laid back style for 2016 Going back to the money between friends and no sponsors type NON events Watch in hookups for a lot of opportunities to get out and fish with folks next year... Plan your own at a lake local to you There will be several tourneys during the year but that's up to the individuals planning them

I will not be organizing any tourneys next year. Time to take a year off.

The FreshKats series of events has been a staple of the NCKA community for years, so I'll definitely be sad. I've enjoyed every event I attended--even dragged my wife & kids along for some; they're an honest to goodness family tradition!
While the locations, participants, and causes have changed, the driving forces have remained the same. The work that you guys put into FreshKats does not go unnoticed. I appreciate the heck out it! But at the same time, I understand it's an incredibly ambitious undertaking...that requires a lot of time and effort and stress. Ya'll got my respect even if it doesn't happen in 2016!
