I'll be adding a full/better product review once I get my hands on one of these ... Most likely won't start shipping till early 2016.

I'm liking the Bluetooth for controlling the trolling motor or power pole.

YES!  Previous to this, you had to step all the way up to the HDS series & for a small boat or kayak user, this was a 2x jump in price.  This looks to be  a GREAT hybrid in between the Elite & the HDS series.

The Elite 7 Ti series will also have a totally new all-in-one transducer option that allows for CHIRP, DownScan and StructureScan; called the TotalScan.

I'm working one getting the final dimensions/images of this one.  I only have the preliminary sketches at this time.

looks pretty nice, curious as to the price including the TS.  Seems like it could make it easier to network on a boat for an affordable price.

Bill - Looks sweet.  I saw a $649 price for the 7 inch at the website.  Does that include a transducer and a Navionics Chip?

I believe $649 is w/o any transducer.  I think it will top out at around $799 "fully loaded".  This info is still 'fluid' at this point since this launched, to my surprise, nearly 2 weeks early!

Found this for dimensions.  Seems right but can't verify 100% till I have one on my desk.

Update:
The Lowrance site has it a 10.2"L x 2.3" wide so there may be some discrepancy in the actual dimensions since that image I clipped, though it came from the TotalScan Manual, may be the dimensions of the older LSS-2 transducer that paved the way for this one.  I'll continue to update as info comes across my desk.

Will this network with the HDS gen3 series? I would like to use the HDS9(the 12 was over my budget) for my radar and chart overlay and then use 2 separate sonar screens, 1.at the helm and one in the fishing cockpit. Finally will add a back up chartplotter.

Yes.  You will need to make sure you are networking HDS Gen3 displays with the Gen3 9" you are looking to buy.  You will network with both the NMEA 2000 backbone AND the Ethernet Cable (yellow plug) to share all the data across the multiple displays.  The HDS 9 & 12" have multiple Ethernet ports but if you added, say, two more HDS Gen3 7" units, you would need a Ethernet Hub since the 7" units only have 1 Ethernet port.  This will allow total sharing of data across the system as well as a need for only 1 chart chip.

Not 100% sure when the TotalScan transducer will be available for purchase though.  Soon i Hope.  Alternative is a separate 83/200 or 50/200 and a LSS-2 (455/800 Down & Side).

Does the touch screen work with dripping wet fingers? Just wondering how well it would work with kayak anglers.
